Hi Everyone. We have a client running ESXi5.5.0 1331820 with two VMs. Every time they have a power failure (their UPS is broken and replacement is coming) the ESXi server loses it's management IP and all VM's in the inventory. We have been fixing it my adding the management IP back in, browsing the datastore through the vSphere Client and right clicking the VMX file and adding it back into the inventory then starting it.
Has anyone experienced this happening to them before and if so was there a resolution other than a complete rebuild?
