ESXi 5.5: Win 7 VM unresponsive after host sleep

Hi All,

I am running ESXi 5.5 on a Dell T110, interacting with it through vCenter in a Win7 VM on my Macbook Pro (using VMWare Fusion).

I have a Win 7 64-bit VM running in ESXi that does just fine when I am interacting with it. But after the Macbook goes to screensaver or sleep (and it loses its network connection), I wake it up and I am pretty much unable to get the VM back up and running. Even once the network access is re-enabled and I have vCenter re-connected, it shows the VM as powered on but the console is nothing but a black screen. When I click into it, the cursor disappears while within the console, but reappears once outside the window or released from the VM itself. The only way to get the VM back working is to restart it.

Any ideas on why this is happening, or how to prevent it?

Thanks!
