ESXi 5.5 Update 2 released today. Does it include all the openssl patches and NFS APD fix?

Does this roll up all the previous patches from GA to Update1 and after?

Yes, Update 2 contains all fixes since the GA version.

The roll up is the one which has cumulative fixes.It includes GA,U1 as well.

It has even the openssl patches.

If i were to upgrade from 5.1GA to 5.5U2 do i still need to generate new SSL certs and change root password?

You are talking about the vCenter Server Appliance!? I didn't see any limitations/issues mentioned in the Release Notes, so upgrading to the new Appliance should be be straight forward task. Deploy the new appliance without specifying any settings and use the wizard in the web console for the upgrade.

After applying patch, it states you need to generate new self signed certificates and change root password.
