ESXi 5.5 - Direct access to Local LUN

I have a stand alone ESXi 5.5 server.

It has 2 local SAS controllers

     Controller 1 (HP Smart Array P410):  Single RAID 10 LUN Local data store with two VM's

     Controller 2 (HP Smart Array P812):  Single RAID 6 LUN nothing on it yet...

My question is I only need one of the VM's to access this LUN. Is it possible to give the VM direct access to the LUN and/or controller rather than creating a massive datastore and vmdk?

If it is I know snapshots wouldn't work on that data but that really doesn't matter in this case.
