ESXi 5 3d graphics

Hello I was hoping to use ESXi 5's 3d graphics, specifically directx 9 video games, is this where sVGA comes into play?

If so I was wondering if a r9 280x 6gb video card would work with ESXi's sVGA 3d graphics?

If its vSGA you are thinking about then yes, that will be able to accelerate DirectX9.

No, only supported GPU:s like Nvidia GRID K1, K2 and AMD S9000 will work currently.

I did not say only S9000, I said "like Nvidia GRID K1, K2 and AMD S9000 will work currently".

My point was that it needs to have a driver from the GPU-vendor, the S7000 also work for example but not the consumer radeon-cards.
