ESXi 5.1 with IBM customization

Hi,

First of all, sorry for my poor English.

I got the following issue/doubt;

I did download an ESXi 5.1 from IBM website and installed on our only server.

I created 4 necessary VM's and installed CentOS on each one, configured, etc.

We need to upgrade from this free product to a certain level of licensed product, because this one is limited to 32 GB RAM.

My question is...

If I buy, for example, a VMware vSphere Essentials Kit, can I upgrade to it from this version? Or it will reject my bought serial key? Will I need to reinstall it all?

Yes it should work.

Incase if you stucked you may need to contact both OEM & product manufacturer like vmware .

All you will need to do is add the correct License Key - no re-install will be needed.
