ESXi 5.1 network aggregation

Hello everybody.

I am newbie to this so I would like to ask for help.

I have task to find out how to make from 2x 1GBps to 1x 2GBPs.

I have got IBM x3650 M3 and CISCO manageable switch.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi and welcome to virtualization world Smiley Wink

By default, ESXi can use your network up-links on load balancing mode.

It's available for you on your networking configuration -> Virtual switch.

Depending on your setup and gear you could bond the NICs with etherchannel and make it "2GigE"

However in most cases, load balancing with the default policy is recommended.
