ESXi 5.0 Update Manager

HI All,

Currently my ESXi 5.00 ,469512  version and non compliant status (red) so i found that current patch is Vmware ESXi 5.0 comlete update 3 ?

How do i install this update or do i need to go to update 2 first? Can this update cause any issues?

VMware are cumulative so you can go straight to update 3 - if you are using update manager you sue that to insatll the update or you can boot from an Update 3 installation an it will allow you upgrade your ESXi host

One note on update 3 ... once you update vCenter to update 3, you will need to update your vsphere client as well before you can connect again. So plan ahead to upgrade this on any terminal servers, etc. so that you're able to work immediately. When you connect for the first time, it will automatically download the client, but this isn't always possible (for example in a Citrix deployment).
