Can any who actually has a running esxi 5.0 machine with a raid controller that "just works" please tell me what they are using?
Ideally looking for a 4 port sata II card, 6Gbps, low profile with riser kit, 128 meg and up, battery backup option would be nice and ideally capable of RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 (or 0+1) and 6.
Have looked through various forums and the HCL list and am seeing differeing opinions all over the place.
Hopefully someone here has has something similar can tell me what they have/works well for them 9please).
