ESXi 4: Host hangs while deleting Snapshots

Hello!

We are running ESXi 4.0 with local SAS Raid10 datastore on a Dell Poweredge 2900.

We are using Trilead VMexplorer as a backuptool to a iSCSI NAS. Whenever the backup is finished and the created snapshot is deleted, the host (and all guests) become unresponsive for the time it takes to delete it. Afterwards everything is running normal again.

Does anybody have an idea on how to resolve this or where I should start looking?

What will happen if you create your own snapshot and delete the snapshot? Probably you can delete after a day, or a week.

Does the similar scenario happen? Could be Trilead VMexplorer problem?

this also happens when we delete a normal snapshot...
