Okay this is driving me nuts. They say it can be done.
I am trying to load ESXi 4.1 update 1 to my equallogic. I am using a Dell M610 Blade with a broadcom 5771 10Gb nic (all fimware is up todate) to connect to a equallogic 6010 array. I have everything setup right in the nic bios even to the point were when it boots the nic connects to the storage (I can see the connection on the equallogic screen and also the nic bios says suscessfull). Now here is where the fun begins the ESXi install get to the point of connecting to the lun and times out.(equallogic no longer has a connection) From the ESXi install console (cntrl-alt-f1) I can ping the storage and read the logs.
I have performed this with a static IP and DHCP on the Nic settings with same results.
So where are the iscsi config files?
Any thoughts would be great.
