ESXi 4.1 liste 2 active paths for a lun

Hi,

I have a simple question :

I have a ESXi 4.1 server with 2 dual-port Fiber Channel HBA.  When I go to manage the path on my LUNs, I see my 4 paths and 2 are listed as active.  I was on the impression that when you select "Most Recently Used" in the path selection, it would only activate one path and all the other would be standby.

Is this normal?  If not, could it have an impact on the LUNs performance?

This thread, http://communities.vmware.com/message/1698761, has a similar question and the result was ALULA was enabled for the array.   Could be the case with you?

In this case, only 1 path is being used (the one with the IO next to it).  The other is an active path (e.g. to penalty for use) that is not being currently actively used.
