ESXi 4.1 U3 Roll Up - does it contain all prev patches?

relates to a pacth for the PVSCSI Driver released before U3 and specifically states

"To resolve this issue in ESXi 4.1 and earlier versions, apply the patch VMware ESXi 4.1 Patch ESXi410-201201402-BG. For more information, see VMware ESXi 4.1 Patch ESXi410-201201402-BG: Updates VMware Tools (2009144)."

If update all the servers to U3 does it include this patch? - I can't see it mentioned in the release notes for U3 but thought the roll up contained all previous patches.

very confused..
