Hi there
I've had a lot of trouble installing ESXi 4.1 on the ASUS P7F-C untill I've disabled the on-board NIC's and installed an Intel NIC instead.
The problem is I would like to add the drivers to the ESXi if at all possible.
Are there are drivers for this Motherboard available at all ?
Thanks in advance.
Peter
there is no current driver for any marvel nic you can alway look what extra drivers you dowload here:
there is a way to insert some drivers into your oem.tgz, check it out on vm-help, i dont know if there is any driver there for your marvel nic, as a fact once you are using a driver that was not provided by vmware you are breaking your support.

If you really want to do this then go for it. However, I don't think it is worth it. Think of any updates you are going to apply in the future. You would always have the risk of breaking your system. IMO if you can make it work with just adding a non-expensive Intel NIC and therefore have a stable system, I wouldn't even bother to look for other drivers.
