ESXi 4.0 storage expansion

My ESXi 4.0 host uses Datastore1, consisting of a 200 GB internal RAID 5 array of 4 disks. Recently, I added a 5th disk to that array and expanded the logical partition size from 200 GB to ~272 GB. Naturally, the RAID expansion takes some time, but I'm pretty sure it's completed by now.

However, when I refresh the Datastore1 in VSphere client, it still shows just 200 GB, not 272 GB. Do I need to reboot the host after the RAID expansion is complete in order for it to see the larger logical disk? Or did I do something wrong?

Grow an extent in an existing VMFS datastore, so that it fills the available adjacent capacity. Only extents with free space immediately after them are expandable
