ESXi 4.0 Update 2 - Host memory usage on DG35EC

I need to know if is normal what the ESXi host memory usage be always between 1500-1700 MB. I'm using a DG35EC motherboard (with a Core 2 Quad Q9400 CPU and 8 GB RAM - Corsair PC2-6400). I remember what a few time ago I install ESXi 4.0 in a DG33BU motherboard and the host memory usage (without VMs running) was 800 MB.

I load the BIOS 0118 on my motherboard (DG35EC).

I must downgrade the BIOS on my motherboard or something else? Any idea about this scenario?

About the question... I downgrade the BIOS to version 0116 and the host memory footprint down to 808 MB... An acceptable level of memory usage...
