ESXI doesn't recognize HDDs on Dell Poweredge R620

Hello all,

I'm new to working with servers and recently purchased a Dell Poweredge R620.

I've configured a RAID0 virtual disk using 4x600 HDDs on a PERC H310 Mini RAID controller and booting ESXI off a USB stick. However, the ESXI does recognize everything (RAM, CPU, networking etc.) with the exception of the storage.

Open to any suggestions on what I am doing wrong.

The latest ESXi version that's supported on your server model is ESXi 6.5. The same version is the latest one that supports your RAID controller.

Thanks André,

That was the issue. After installing 6.5.0 Update 2 (Build 13635690), my disks now show up.
