ESXI HPE Custom - update

Hi everyone!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I have two HP servers at home.
DL380 Gen9 and ML110 Gen10
Both servers have ESXi 7.0 Update 3f installed.
I see there is a newer version and I wanted to update my two servers.

Unfortunately, I am not sure how to update because my ESXI system is HPE Custom.

Is it enough if:
1. Turn off all machines on the host
2. I will enter Maintenance Mode on the host
3. Log in to the server via ssh
4. I will update with the command:
esxcli software profile update -p ESXi-7.0U3g-20328353-standard -d https://hostupdate.vmware.com/software/VUM/PRODUCTION/main/vmw-depot-index.xml

Thank you in advance.

Lukasz.

Assuming that you already took care of the host's firewall, you can do it that way.
From what I've read, HPE supports patching a host using the default VMware patches within the same "Update" release.

Thank you for your response!

I did the updates as I wrote in the first post.

The update was successful and I have no problems.
