ESXI 7.0.3 HPE Custom - low transfer when copying

Hi,

a few days ago I installed ESXI 7.0.3

I have a little problem with low transfer when copying.

The server has a default RAID configuration and ESXI7 configuration.

My configuration:

HPE ML110 Gen10

64GB RAM

RAID controller: E208p-i

Disks:

ARRAY A: 2x Samsung 860 PRO 256GB - RAID 1 - only for ESXI

ARRAY B: 2x Seagate 4TB - RAID 1 - data storage

ARRAY C: 3x Crucial MX500 1TB - RAID 5 - VM storage

ARRAY D 1x WD Green 240GB - RAID 0 - not used.

I have created virtual machines for testing below:

VM01 - ARRAY A (SSD) - 2vCPU, 8GB RAM, 64GB HDD

VM02 - ARRAY B (HDD) - 2vCPU, 8GB RAM, 64GB HDD

VM03 - ARRAY C (SDD) - 2vCPU, 8GB RAM, 64GB HDD

I am downloading a 1GB file for each virtual machine.

During the copy, only one VM is running on the ESXI7 host.

Copy Speeds:

VM01 - max 100MB / s

VM02 - max 35MB / s

VM03 - max 100MB / s

You can find my RAID controller configuration in the link below.

Am I able to achieve better transfers?

Hello.
If this is a test environment or a new environment, you could try with version 6.7 Update 3 HP custom image, re-run your transfer speed tests.
