ESXI 6.7 UI not allowing me to login

I've run into a problem as follows:

The ESXI 6.7 UI is not allowing me to login from any pc or any browser. I've tried 4 different browsers to no avail. I am using the correct credentials but the whenever I try to login it throws the following "error", "Please refresh your browser" that pops up right underneath the VMware ESXi logo. This is the first time its done this. I am wondering if it has something to do with the certificate but I'm not really sure. It does have a error on certificate but again not sure if that will cause this.

Thank You for your help.

Welcome to the Community,

unless you've replaces the certificate, the warning is expected, because ESXi uses a self signed certificate by default.

What you may try - unless VMs are configured for auto start/stop - is to restart the Management Agent from the host's DCUI (console).

Is it possible that root password has expired?
Can you login via ssh? if not root password has expired
What you need to do is:

Connect to the server console (using KVM/iLO/Idrac or your preferred method)
try to log in with root credentials, this way it should work

type: chage --list root

this should show you if root password is expired

then type: chage -M 99999 root

Warm regards
