ESXI 6.5 evaluation expired

I am a student and I installed a server at home

I installed ESXI on a Dell R710 sometime in October, my evaluation period is now over.

I have an account with VMWare, but it did not show that I was evaluating this product, so I cannot get a free license.

I downloded the software again and now it show that I am evaluating the product, but because I just downloaded it, it is telling me that the evaluation is good for 60 days, so I still do not have a license, I do not want to reinstall it on my server has it will wipe my VM

anyone has a solution ?

I am terribly sorry

call me stupid if you want

I just remember that I had another account that I was using a while ago and ESXI was downloaded from that account.

I found the license information and applied it with success.

Again I am very sorry

You have to buy license or reinstall your ESXi.

There is no other solution.

If you have only vSphere ESXi and don't need advanced features and manage that host using vCenter server, you can apply the vSphere ESXi free hypervisor license, see: Download VMware vSphere Hypervisor for Free

Note that when you install the vSphere ESXi without provide a license key, it will enter the 60 days evaluation. For additional information of how to license your host, see: http://www.vladan.fr/apply-vmware-free-license-vmware-esxi/

My problem is that I do not have a license number, so I cannot apply a license, I may have downloaded it from another which would explain why it did not show in 'My WMware'.

That is why I downloaded it again, but this time directly from VMware, but it is telling me that no license is needed

There's no license key requirement for the evaluation, which by default runs for 60-day after installing the product.

Anyway, you should be able to register for the free Hypervisor license by following the link provided by rcporto‌?
