ESXI 5.5 U3 with 512n Drives

I have an older host running ESXI 5.5 U3 on a PowerEdge T430 and I need to build another RAID10 volume with the Perc 730 controller.  My question is regarding 512n support with this older version of ESXI.  I know that 512e and 4Kn drives are not supported with ESXI 5.5 but need to know if 512n drives will work fine.  I presume they do as the logical and physical sector size is 512 on 512n drives.

Thanks for any input.

Hi Shepcon

vSphere/vSAN 6.0 and earlier versions have not been designed to use 4Kn/512e direct-attached disk drives. 512e drives are supported only in version 6.5 and later

Thanks for the information on 4Kn and 512e drive support.  Does this mean that 512n drives are supported with vSphere/vSAN 5.5?
