ESXI 5.5 PSOD

Hello,

I upgraded from 5.1 to 5.5 and even tried to reinstall ESXi 5.5 both went well. So I added 10 VM's 2 seperat networks some DC's ist all working. So I decided to add a VM  (tried it with Windows 2008R2 and Windows Server 2012R2) that load torrent(tried utorent and vuze) over RSS feeds and after it add torrent to the programm I get instandly a PSOD (Exception 14 in world 32881:RCUDeferredC IP 0x418037210c57 addr 0x0).

and yes before 5.5 it worked like a charm.

Do your VM's use an E1000(E) NIC? If so, this might be related:

Re: Reproducable PSOD on 5.1U1 and 5.5 with Windows 8.1 and Server 2012 R2 and E1000E NIC

Try to keep VMXNET3 the prefered vNIC.

I personally would always choose VMXNET3 unless there is a reason not to.
