ESXI 5.0 or 5.1 suport for DLink DFE-580TX 4 ports card

Hello,

I would like to add this card to my ESXI 5.0. I know that sometimes there si possible to create customize driver which can be put to ESXI. Is anybody know how to do this customize driver or maybe sombody did it and can share with other?

Usually VMware or the vendor (here its D-Link) provide the customized driver for the hardware if there is no inbox driver with ESXi.

you can search in vmware Hardware compatibility list (http://www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/search.php) . If it says the hardware is supported then we can find the suitable driver in either VMware portal or Vendor portal.

Unfortunatelly there isn't DLink on compatibility list. But I found on forum that somebody had customized driver for other DLINk card and it worked,
