Hello

I bought ESX4 and I have questions How to power secure my ESX?

I Installed Agent Powerchute in my VM with windows 2008 and is OK.

1. I want automatic shutdown my ESX in power failde. How I do it?

2. I want automatic shutdown my VMs with Linux (Debian) in power failde. How I do it?

You can install PowerChute in your ESX.

Or use apcupsd (last version support also PowerChute protocols).

Or use a VM with VIMA (http://www.vmware.com/support/developer/vima/)
