ESX to ESX converter

I have a Dell ESXi server with a Windows2003 and Ubuntu image running on it. I just built a new ESXi on a HP server and want to move or copy that W23K server from the Dell to the HP. Not sure how to get started on this process if it can be done with ESX?

Without Vcenter this can't be done directly between ESXi hosts. There are multiple ways to achieve this.

- Copy the VM-Directories with FastSCP from ESX A to ESX B

- Download the VM-Directories to a Windows-Client with Vsphere Client Directorybrowser and then upload them to the new ESXi host.

You can use the VMware Standalone Converter. Select Powered on machine on the first ESXi host and the destination is the new server. You can have the converter stop the old server and start the new.
