I have 5 TB SAN Storage ( HP 4000 LeftHand Two Nodes (24 Disks Raid 5) and I got following VM's
High I/O VM's:
1 x Exchange Server required 700GB VM ( 4 Databases)
1 x SQL Server -300 GB
Mid I/O VM's
2 x Xenapp Server - 100GB each
Low I/O Vms
10 x VMs - 100 GB each
1. What is the best way to create LUNS Size and allocate?( Need the Luns to replicate to DR Site 500GB LUNS?)
2. How do i setup disks in VM? ( OS Disk Lun) ( Data Lun ) ( SWAP LUN)
3. Can one SWAP Lun is ok with 250GB?
4. What is the recommended OS Disk size for Windows 2008?
5. Page files?
6 I'm using Veeam to backup these VM's and they make snapshot before the backup so do i need a seperate LUN for that?
