ESX 5.5 Guest OS Compatibility Guide

This seems to be the latest Guest OS Compatibility Guide http://partnerweb.vmware.com/comp_guide2/pdf/VMware_GOS_Compatibility_Guide.pdf but I'm not seeing reference to much ESX 5.5 support. Same thing with the VMware Compatibility Guide http://www.vmware.com/resources/compatibility/search.php?deviceCategory=software&testConfig=16. When I select ESXi 5.5 and Microsoft only Windows 2012 R2, WIndows 2003R2 SP2 and Windows 8 shows up?

Anybody else have the same issue? I'm looking for the definitive list of supported guest OSes for vSphere 5.5.

That's the link from my original post. I understand it was recently updated. That's the reason for the post. I don't see accurate ESXi 5.5 information in the document. For example, Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition R2 only shows support up to ESX 5.1 U1? It's my understanding that WIndows NT is the only Microsoft server guest OS support depricated in the ESXi 5.5 release.

Even I checked the VMware Compatibility Guide and found the same information.

We do not have adequate information in VMware product documentation page in this regard. I would suggest filing an SR with VMware to get more details.

OK. Thanks for checking. I do have an SR open. I just expected ESXi 5.5 to be refelected in the compatibility documents by now.
