ESX 4 and Lefthand Networks

Hi,

I have a 4.2TB Lefthand Networks cluster and was wondering what would be the best way to go with regards to creating LUNs? I was thinking about creating 8 X 500GB LUNs to keep down the number of VMs per LUN.

I know it ultimatley depends on the size of the VMs but if anyone has anything to add feel free.

There will be 20 VMs for starters.

thanks

Hello.

Here are a couple of good reads with some great info:

The key thing is to come up with a formula that works very well for your specific environment.

Good Luck!
