ESX 4 Booting Sequence?

Hello All,

Can some please brief about the ESX 4 booting sequence? I have been hunting around the internet to find an answer. Precisely I wanted to know whether the SC loads first or the VMkernel?According to a document on ESX 2.0 the service console loads first, and has there been any changes to it now in vSphere?

In ESX classic, the service console OS is used to bootstrap the vmkernel. That much remains the same from ESX 3.x to ESX4.
