Does anyone know if VMware will release ESX4.2 in the future? Thanks.
Given that vSphere 5 (or what is referred to publicly as ESXi 5) is said to come out in the 2nd half of this year, I don't think we'll see a 4.2 release. I'm sure we'll see 4.1 Update 2.
From my knowledge there is no ESX 4.2 release.... You may expect ESXi 5 by Q4 or next year Q1 though.
yeah, vSphere5 will be next upcoming. Even if there is 4.2 there will not be any ESX version as 4.1 is the last version for ESX.
