ESX 4.1 - Guest = Server 2008 r2 - Choppy Mouse

Greets!

I have ESX 4.1, with several guest Windows Server 2008 r2.   VMware Tools = v8.3.12 build-493255, which is the latest, I suppose.

From the CONSOLE, the mouse is draggy and choppy, as if there was no VMware tools

I do not have this problem using RDP.

I do not have this problem with my Windows Server 2003 / XP machines.

(Two HOST servers, same symptoms on both.)

Ideas greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

In this case you may want to install the WDDM display drivers (see http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1016770). Please make sure you increase the video RAM as mentioned in the KB article, otherwise you will end up with a black screen for the guest OS!
