E1000 NICs on ESXI 5.1

Hi All,

I'm having a strange problem,

I'm migration machines installed on ESXi 4.1 to ESXi 5.1.

My machines has E1000 NICs,

Once I migrate them, I have no network connectivity to these machines.

I have tryied upgrading the virtual hardware, as well as the VMware tools, but it didn't help.

When I change / add a NIC as VMXNet3, networking is working on the same server.

Only E1000 adapters fail to connect,

Even when creating a new machine with E1000.

I cannot go and change all NICs (even by using powershell),

Since some of the VMs are running Microsoft SQL clusters.

I’m using “ESXi-5.1.0-799733-IBM-20120919”

On IBM HS22 blades.

Anyone familiar with it?
