Drag and Drop - VMRC

Hello Guys,

I am on vCenter 5.5 and my hosts are ESXi 5.5.0. Our users remotely connects to their Ubuntu VMs using VMRC, for them to have GUI access as part of their requirements. Now I am not sure if some of you might have solved this but my users wants to be able to drag-and-drop file to and from their VMs using their workstations. Is this possible?

I have done this for my host but unfortunately I didn't manage to make it work.

isolation.tools.copy.disable=”FALSE
isolation.tools.paste.disable=”FALSE

I know this drag and drop approach is doable when you're vm is inside VMware player/workstation, there is an option to enable it. Bur for VMs inside an ESXi host managed by a vCenter, is this possible?

Thank you in advance for those who will give their inputs.

Hi,

After you added those config to the host, you need to reboot the VMs to take effect. You can add the same config to individual VM if you want to restrict it for security purpose.
