Downgrade key 7 to 6.7

Good morning,
I have a key 7 registered months ago, now I have a HP 350 G9 server which can only have 6.5 / 6.7 but I can't find the way to convert this key.
What procedure should I adopt or should I throw the server away? I hope not....thanks for the help.

Upgrading, and downgrading license keys is only possible for (paid) licenses that are registered in your Customer Connect portal.
There's no such option available for free Hypervisor license keys.

After vSphere 6.x went out of support in October, VMware removed version 6.x from the free Hypervisor offerings.

At this point, the only way is to install an HPE 6.7 version and request a paid key from HP, correct ?

In the end, the license keys are provided by VMware, not by an OEM like HPE.

If you still need/want to run ESXi 6.7, you may purchase the license for the current version, and then downgrade it in the Customer connect portal. The same key works for the all vendor customized editions.
