Downgrade Licence Essentials from 8.0 to 7.0

Hi,

Just purchased Essentials Licence 8.0 from a Free Licence but need to downgrade it to 7.0 (Backup solution on supports 7.0 as of this time)

Keeping getting the error

The system is unable to process your request at this time. Please try again later.
Do you have to wait a day for the licence apply?

Hello.
I had the same problem in October with the downgrade of licenses from 7 to 6 for a customer.
I had to try several times, at different times and days. But finally it worked.
VMware was experiencing a delay in license generation including license upgrade and downgrade services, due to the high demand for licenses.
You can go ahead and download and install the version you need and you will automatically have a demo license activated for 60 days.
