Hello everyone, I have a problem with a windows 2008 and sql backup backup exec.
the server performs daily backup with backup exec datarecover and then I save database.
when datarecover make the snapshot of the vm I go to delete a field in the master database in sql and accordingly symantec backup fails.
I found this kb vmware (http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&externalId=1031200), I was risolve the problem on windows 2003 but although he made the same operation on Windows 2008 This does not work.
I created with the key inside the vmbackup.conf on "%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Application Data\VMware\VMware Tools\" windows path and write in to file the vsswriter be disabled, rebooted, did a snaphot with quiesce skill but always gives me a sql vss.
How can I do to solve the problem?
