Disable Verbose logging in ESXi

I am routing ESXi 4.0 events through syslog. I don't verbose events to routed.

please specify how it can be achieved.

If you use syslog-ng you can filter what events to log. You can also trigger events (email etc) based on particular events. File based on date.

Sorry forgot to add. I seem to remember a discussion some time ago about verbosity and if I remember there was no way. I'll see if I can find the reference.

To we need to configure anything for these events to be suppressed.

Syslog-ng is very configurable. You do need to edit the configuration files and add filters etc. It is usually an install option with most linux distributions.
