I have a couple of PCI devices I am trying to configure for DirectPath. When I configure them as such in vCenter (web client) - the indicate "Available (Pending)" and say "4 devices will become available when this host is rebooted."
However - after I reboot the ESX many times (through vCenter, through the indicated button on the DirectPath page, and at the ESX itself) - it still always shows these PCI devices as "Available (pending)" and still tells me "4 devices will become available when this host is rebooted."
I am using ESX 5.5.0 on a Supermicro X9DRW (Xeon E5/Core i7)
Any ideas??
