Did improper order on Step 12 of: Configuring CA signed SSL certificates for vCenter Single Sign-On in vSphere 5.5 (2058519)

I got through this KB and in my haste, I missed the statement: Important: Update the services in this order starting with Groupcheck. Performing the updates out of order prevents SSO from starting. Now I am getting an error when trying to log in through Web Client and errors when trying to re-do those steps. Logging in to Web Client the error I get is :Cannot connect to vCenter Single Sign-On server . I figure this is a simple fix but not finding any guidance online.

Trying to re-run those steps I get:

One thing I am seeing now that I looked at it closer is in the error it is listing the server as - "https://servername.domain.com" and the server is actually at "https://servername.domain.local". I have went in and updated the gc_id file with the correct info, it was wrong and still getting the same result/output.

Any/all guidance would be appreciated.

Environment is vSphere 5.5, just upgraded from 4.1 on a WIndows Server 2008 R2 box.
