Is it possible to disable the scratchconfig volume. Simply set I need to unlink the ip address so i need it to be gone
I have tried
-putting ESX in maintenance mode
-disabling HA as the scratchconfig is required by it
-disabled swapping and rebooting
-clearing the field via vsphere cli and GUI. Both work but if I open the advanced settings or request the parameter via cli it gives the old lun. Rebooting directly after configuring it doesn't help
