Default number of worlds inside a VM

Hi there,

I would like to know what the default number of worlds are inside a Virtual Machine.
If I look at my own configuration I always see the following 7 default worlds.

1) vmast

2) vmx

3) vmx-mks

4) vmx-svga

5) vmx-vthread

6) vmx-vthread

7) vmx-vcpu0

But if I search on the internet I find people saying the default number of worlds for a standard Virtual Machine is 5.

I'm using ESXi 5.5.0, 1746974

Also I would like to read some information about how it exactly works when and for what for reason a new vmx-vthread is getting created.
I know that when I add a new cpu to a server that this will increase the vmx-vcpuX.

I hope someone can provide me more information about this subject because I'm really curious about it.
Kind regards,
Martijn
