Decommision VM And Storage

I have been asked to decommission a test vm and all its storage which was never used. How do i do this? Is it the case of just deleting from disk? how do i decommission the storage on this vm which is shared? Need to perform this task today.

If you want just remove the VM and its associated virtual disks, right click on VM and select "Delete from Disk".

If you want remove the "datastore" where the VM virtual disk resides, check this blog post: Best Practice: How to correctly remove a LUN from an ESX host | VMware vSphere Blog - VMware Blogs
