Datastores are not appearing on all hosts even though storage devices do appear on all hosts

I have an infuriating problem which I cant seem to resolve, my datastores are not appearing on all hosts even though storage devices do appear on all hosts.  Any tips on troubleshooting this would be greatly appreciated, this is an iSCSI environment connected to a Synology NAS and I am using it for my VCAP studies at the moment, or was Smiley Sad

Tried quite a few things so far...

-     Re-creating the target and starting from scratch

-     recreating the cluster from scratch

-     Restarting the storage

-     Restarting the hosts (I think I did anyhow)

And probably a few other things, would appreciate the any other tips/lessons

Please take a look at VMware KB: vSphere handling of LUNs detected as snapshot LUNs to see whether this helps.

That has indeed done the trick mate, when re-added it was named ...

snap-561a4e19-Synology LUN1

Presumably the naming convention indicated it thought it was a snapshot?
