Datastore pefromance Graphs donot work with Level Mapping Utility in 6

HI All,

I have enabled Datastore performance graphs in vCenter 5.5 via Level Mapping Utility and it works like a charm ; however when I follow the same steps for vCenter Appliance 6 it doesn't seem to work

I was following article https://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=20315...

has any got a chance to test datastore performance graphs via Level Mapping Utility on vSphere Appliance 6 ?

Thanks

Vaibhav,

This should definitely work in both the version, the only different is the where you are viewing the graph. For example for counter play a vital role here,If you need a day historical metrics some metrics like this will certainly work.Try use datastore -> monitor

  • Average read requests per second
  • Average write requests per second
  • Read latency
  • Write latency

Dee006,

I have attached the counters file for my lab vcsa -- sdrs-sioc-reenable.csv

All the counters are on Level 2 and datastore is not reporting graphs for all counters

few counters show data and few dont

Thanks
