Datastore on HP server

Hello,

I make a lab and to store the datastore, I would like to use a HP server.

I install Windows server 2019 on disk1 et disk2 on a raid and I put a disk3 and disk4 to create another raid.

This last raid will be used to store datastore.

This server is connected with network cable (not fiber).

How I can use the disk3 and disk4 to store datastore and show this on my esx ?

Thanks very much for your help

Best regards,

For lab purposes, NFS on a Windows Server may be ok, and easy to configure.

It depends what you require,

easiest would be NFS however you can create iSCSI as well if you want block storage.

Check this

For NFS refer this KB

Thanks,

Thanks for your help.

I tried first with NFS but didn't work so I tried with iSCSI and it works fine.

I found strange to create VHD files but for a lab it is perfect.

Thanks again
