What ESXi log file(s) does that event get recorded in?
This will not log into the log .
This will not be security treat . since administrator control the datastore acess based on the permission.
If I logged into an ESXi host and browsed a datastore and downloaded a vmdk, I believe it would most certainly show in the ESXi logs. Everything that happens on an ESXi host goes into its logs...
This is the very very important security issue. In an enterprise virtualization admin wouldn't be an administrator of vm operation systems.
