    HI All,

I'm running 2 VM's on Cloud ( DMZ) i'm also monitoring these VM's and getting the SMS alert every night saying system down

Then i noticed following event on these VM's

    Log Name:      System

    Source:        Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-General

    Date:          1/07/2013 2:40:18 AM

    Event ID:      1

    Task Category: None

    Level:         Information

    Keywords:      Time

    User:          SYSTEM

    Computer:      wsexceli0002

    Description:

The system time has changed to ‎2013‎-‎06‎-‎30T16:40:18.874000000Z from ‎2013‎-‎06‎-‎30T16:39:41.317265700Z.

Vmtools installed and untick the "Time synch between the virtual machine and the ESX Server"

How do i fix this issue?

Ensure that option is ticked and is in sync between VM and ESXi

    HI Akash,

I have set the Time Sync with ESX but still not FIXED. Do i need to restart the VmwareTool Service or guest?

Also found that from old thread , but i cannot find this command anymore?

    Windows:

enable VMware time sync where it was previously disabled:

    vmwareservice --cmd "vmx.set_option synctime 0 1"
