Hey all,
I have vswitch4, VLAN id 99 - But it shouldn't matter this is a sandbox with on pnic out to a test printer.
We have an AD controller in there with the DHCP services running. We have a windows 7 test vm there as well that doesn't get a DHCP address.
We can statically assign an IP and ping out, but it won't get one automatically.
What do we need to do to get this to work properly?
Matthew
Is this the only VM with this issue, if not, have you checked if the scope is authorized, DHCP server itself is started? Both servers are on the same port group? Basically the same questions as the poster above me. ![]()
Is the DHCP server and the Windows 7 VM connected to the same port group? Does this happen to all VM's or only this specific one?

LOL - Ok, the other Senior Admin didn't authorize it. Thanks guys, I pointed it out to him and all is working as designed.
Props!
Matthew
