DGC Fibre Channel - missing VMFS Partition table using partedUtil

    Hello everyone,

    I added a new LUN on my SAN and now i want to add it on VMware datastore.

    The problem is : unknown partition

    I read some articles explain need to use ESXI command but i never try it. I saw few commandes but not sure if need all or not.

     

    partedUtil getptbl /vmfs/devices/disks/naa.6001738c7c8053de000000000004aa70

    partedUtil getUsableSectors /vmfs/devices/disks/naa.6001738c7c8053de000000000004aa70

    partedUtil mklabel /vmfs/devices/disks/naa.6001738c7c8053de000000000004aa70 gpt

    I want gpt partition.
